Colourful Chaos Alert!
it's HOLI BLAST time!
This year, on Monday, March 25th, a resident, in the true spirit of community building, inspired several families to come together and spontaneously arrange a vibrant and enjoyable Holi event in the garden.
The cheerful atmosphere was infectious as children and adults alike joined in the festivities. It was a delightful sight to see residents coming together to celebrate the spirit of Holi, spreading happiness and unity in the community.
The impromptu event turned into a memorable celebration that brought smiles to everyone's faces, proving that the joy of Holi knows no bounds when shared with loved ones.
This year, however, the sharing was limited to a select few loved ones. The Managing Committee set out clear guidelines:
"Kindly ensure that only residents (neither friends nor family) are invited to the building celebration in the garden."
Well, for now, Holi has a different hue in Jaldarshan.
Whose Grass Is It Anyway?
Showing up is the first step to courage.
Make sure to attend the SGM and have your vote counted.
With the new grass taking root in our garden, our children are eager to play freely once more, and we are just as excited to hear their joyful laughter fill the air.
Yet, the outcome of the upcoming SGM will determine where our children will play and under what conditions.
A sincere thanks to the managing committee for their magnanimous offer to guide us on what our children can play in our garden.
Here is the directive-
“There’s some misunderstanding here. We are requesting no kicking games to maintain the turf.
Are there no games other than cricket / & football that the children can play? Is there no other way to bond & develop friendship other than playing cricket /& football ..
we can recommend many other games for the children if needed.”
The only problem is kicking games.
All other games (not requiring props) are fine
All we are saying is no aggressive turf damaging sports
There are many other games they can play
Kho kho, races, hide & seek ..please encourage these games.
Know Thy Neighbour.
Starting off this column with a charming nod to the longest-standing inhabitants of Jaldarshan.
Among us are residents who have been part of the Jaldarshan Society since its establishment in 1969 and some that made Jaldarshan their home a few years later.
Moral courage is the ability to distinguish right from wrong.
In perspective, they have witnessed and nurtured at least two generations here in our community.
Every so often, we come across these graceful women, sharing their charming smiles. Some interact daily, while others are seen only occasionally.
Our thoughts and sincere wishes are with these wonderful women!

What is Moral Courage?
Moral courage is the ability to distinguish right from wrong.
And having done so, say so when asked.
Irrespective of what your superiors might think or what your colleagues or subordinates might want.
A ‘Yes’ man is a dangerous man.
He can do anything but never become a leader because he will be used by his superiors and disliked by his colleagues and despised by his subordinates.
So shallow, the ‘Yes’ man.
